Saddest 10-Years Senior Terrier Neglected and Dumped at Kill Shelter, Left With No More Tears To Cry

Volunteers at the Carson Animal Care Center in California tell the heartbreaking story of ten-year-old Angel who was surrendered to the shelter on February 24. Her family told the staff they were moving, and Angel was just yesterday’s trash. For nearly a decade, she has been neglected; her skin is raw and her eyes are infected. And just as tragic, this senior feels betrayed; she has been called the “saddest thing you will see all day.”

“It’s sad that after 10 years of what looks like complete neglect of a treatable and irritating skin condition, they not only gave her the name angel but they left her at the Shelter when they moved. She deserves to know real love and care and this special senior needs help now,” posted members of the Saving Carson Dogs on their Facebook page.
