Adorable Pup Surrendered To Kill Shelter With All His Toys, STILL Praying For Christmas Miracle

In August, Tutu was adopted and rescued from a shelter, and thought, reasonably so, that his days of being trapped in a kennel were long behind him. However, today, he is right back where he started, and this time his life is at stake. On the eve of Christmas, the 4-year old terrier’s family decided that they had some end of year house cleaning to do. And so they rounded him up, along with all his toys, and drove him to the Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California.

During the intake, shelter staff at Carson noticed that the family had been there before, and were puzzled and stunned at the same time that they were back. This time, however, they were there to dump the very same dog, who they welcomed with open arms just a few months ago because as they put it Tutu was a “handful.” Tutu had been too energetic for their liking, and so one way for his heartless owners to combat this issue, was to place him at a city-funded, cash-strapped shelter notorious for their high-kill rate.

Tutu is quite the charmer. Staff says that he is well behaved, kind, and very obedient. During his assessment, there were no issues with his behavior whatsoever. If you or someone you know is interested in giving this boy a forever home, please contact the Carson Animal Shelter at 310.523.9566 and reference the shelter ID #A4983358.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter so we are closer to giving this precious pup a forever home. We have done it before and can do it again.
