Terrified 2-Year-Old Shepherd Tucked Away From Adoption Area Because No Room For Him

A crowded animal control facility in Downey, California, has a gorgeous dog tucked away from the general adoption area. The German shepherd, named “Jax,” was taken in at the Los Angeles County Animal Services facility on January 7 – despite a great deal of social media networking, he still remains behind bars, without a home.

Jax is a handsome boy, with soulful eyes, and he is undoubtedly longing to be free from his lonely kennel run. On January 23, one of Jax’s advocates posted a plea to Facebook on the homeless dog’s behalf:

Handsome 2 year old boy, who is curious and wants to play. 😍 to bad it was raining because Jax, appears so bouncy and fun. 😍 Jax is in the non viewable building it’s a crowded shelter. No room to put him in the adoptable building. Let’s help Jax be seen and adopted by posting, tagging and sharing him.

The post has been shared nearly 1000 times, but Jax remains homeless. Please take a moment to share this gorgeous dog’s adoption information and help him find a new, loving and responsible owner.
