Christmas Came and Went...3 Years Old Chi/Beagle mix STILL Waits and Scheduled to Die
I was Neglected, Abandoned and Scheduled to Die ....

Jack was one of the fortunate ones who did not become a statistic like so many other dogs at the ACC. Like most dogs, Jack had a difficult time adjusting to shelter life H was labeled as a " bad dog" and scheduled to die.
The truth is, Jack doesn't have a bad bone in his body. In fact, his previous family allowed him to become obese and unhealthy. Jack came in weighing almost 50lbs! Since Jack has been in his foster home, he has dropped a significant amount of weight by eating healthy, going for daily walks and playing with his canine companions.
We have come to learn that he is great with dogs of all sizes, but not a fan of cats. He would also do best in a home with older children as too much noise and sudden movements scare him. This handsome fella has been in foster for quite a while. It’s so important that he finds his forever home soon, so that the transition isn't too hard on this gentle soul. Let's give this boy the life he truly deserves and a family who will adore him, and make sure he is always happy and healthy!
