Owners Ask For Euthanized Because They Didn't Want To Pay The Medication

My owners wanted me euthanized because they didn't want to pay for my medication .....

Bambi's owners dropped their senior of nine years off at the town shelter and asked that she be euthanized. She wasn't in pain, she didn't have behavioral issues, she suffered with diabetes. Instead of being compassionate, they decided it would be easier if they killed her rather then pay for her insulin. Instead of showing her the loyalty she showed them for the last nine years, they dropped her off, signed the euthanasia papers, and never looked back. Road to Home Rescue could not stand the thought of this angel losing her life and quickly got her out of the shelter and into a foster home.

Being that the previous owners neglected her diabetes, she became partially blind. However, that has not changed her sweet demeanor with humans , cats or dogs. In fact, all she knows how to do is love and play! Unfortunately, she has had a difficult time finding her retirement home because of the fact that she requires an insulin shot twice a day. We can assure you that this little girl takes her shot like a champ! She is completely used to her daily medication, and just needs a compassionate owner who is willing to provide her with the medical attention she needs and deserves.

She has been in her foster home for several months and we cannot believe nobody has scooped this PERFECT angel up! The longer she stays in her foster home, the harder it will be for her to acclimate. Please share her beautiful face and sad story far and wide, so that we can find Bambi the retirement home she never had but always deserved.
