Stunning German Shepherd at Kill Shelter – Friendly And Purebred, But Nobody Came To Get Him

On December 31, a stunning, purebred German shepherd was found wandering alone, and days later, he was taken to the Victor Valley Animal Protection shelter in Apple Valley, California. Amazingly, nobody ever came to claim the stray dog as their own.

A volunteer photographer who has met the four-to-six-year-old dog (dubbed “Apollo”) describes him as “sweet and friendly” dog who has shown no signs of aggression. However, the stress of being locked away in an unfamiliar shelter kennel run is taking a toll.

Susanne Roy, the photographer, tells the Pet Rescue Report, “He is beautiful and I can’t believe his people never came for him.”

Please help Apollo find a new home by taking a moment to network his adoption information. Apollo is located in kennel C-20.
