Please Hurry, I Heard Them Say I Am Out Of Time...7-Years Old Scare At Kill Shelter

Poor Sinatra has been with his owner since he was a wee puppy and at 7 yrs old, a toddler can be full of fun, but also chaotic for an old boy. Instead of getting a trainer or simply separating the two (like I did when my son was growing) - Sinatra's owner signed his life over to a kill shelter 😞 Even though his owner’s favorite thing about him is that he is smart, gives high fives, very protective and affectionate and makes for great company, he lived happily with a Chi and knows commands in English and French! NOT RESERVED - SINATRA WILL BE KILLED SHORTLY AT NYCACC IN STATEN ISLAND, NY

A volunteer writes "Sinatra seemed leery of me as I approached his kennel, so we took it nice and slow, and in no time at all he was taking treats from me and asking me to play his version of fetch (which is when I throw the ball he runs up to it and I then retrieve it). After I tired of playing fetch, Sinatra showed me how he could sit and give paw. Sinatra is a handsome dog and he quickly became my new favorite at the shelter."

Some notes about Sinatria: He was playful around a 9 year old male Chihuahua that he lived with! His owner’s favorite thing about him is that he is smart, gives high fives, very protective and affectionate and makes for great company. His favorite treat is a lamb bone. He knows various commands such as sit, down, shake, give paw, come, stay and heel and he knows commands in both English and French!
