Heartless Owner Abandoned Underweight Dog In The Cold With Rope Around His Neck
Someone abandoned on underweight dog in the bitter cold of a Michigan winter. The pit bull mix, dubbed “Winston,” was found with a yellow rope around his neck not far from the Michigan Animal Rescue League in Pontiac. According to the Detroit Free Press, Winston had been out in the elements long enough to suffer frost bite on his hind legs.
Winston is no longer suffering alone – he is no longer wondering when or if he will be provided with food. Michigan Animal Rescue League has taken the neglected dog in and he is currently on a mandatory stray hold. Winston will be made available for adoption after his stray holding period has expired on Feb. 13, 2017.
Anyone interested in adoption from the Michigan Animal Rescue League (MARL) should call (248) 335-9290.
