Sadly, She Survived A Fire Only To Be Put On The Kill List

She had it all, a house full of adults, children (all ages), small dogs, and cats. Until a house fire turned her world upside down. That look at her face is enough to break anyones heart. She is so scared now, she doesnt want anyone near her. WHY is the shelter NOT giving her time to adjust??? Imagine how horrific her ordeal has been! :( IF ANYONE KNOWS HER OWNER - PLEASE TELL THEM SHE IS ABOUT TO BE KILLED.

On intake: Rappy’s tail was low but would wag when counselor said her name or looked at her. She sat nicely and accepted treats gently from counselor. Rappy allowed counselor to collar her while sitting and petting her on her back and head. She allowed counselor to bear-hug her.

A little about Rappy: She enjoys brisk walks on leash and off-leash walks in the bark. When on-leash, Rappy will pull hard when excited but stays close to her owner’s side when off-leash. Even when she wanders, she comes back when called. Her owners fed her Iams dry food, a giant bowl of 4 cups, once a day. Her favorite treats are chicken and chips.

TO SAVE RAPPY, please post NOW. Death row pups only get 18 hrs to find a home. Killing is in progress. RAPPY, A1101998, MANHATTAN CC
