In Twilight Of His Life, 15-Year-Old Still In Shock After His Family Left Him At Kill Shelter
In the twilight of his life, a 15-year-old dog has found himself alone…held behind the bars of a lonely kennel run, with no familiar faces to provide him with comfort. The dog, named “Pepper,” has been at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California, since January 7 – the day that his family left him behind.

On January 8, the volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, wrote:
Pepper is understandably (and justifiably) confused and saddened by his current life circumstance. Right now, he has no one aside from strangers to provide him with hope for something better. Please help Pepper find his way out of the facility by taking a moment to network his adoption information.
If you are in LA County and can foster this dog, please take a moment to fill out an application at CarsonfosterS@gmail.com.
